Three Noises
Here are three noises which, I say, make this site much more multimedia.
|
Buzz. This is a
half-second buzzing noise. To hear a one-second buzzing noise, play it twice and
ignore the quiet part in the middle. |
|
Cute. This makes a
really cute noise. In fact, I can almost guarantee you'll be laughing within a few
seconds, which means you won't hear the really quiet part at the end, so you'll have to
play it twice. |
|
Cuter noise. My father
started a tradition in our family that I have passed on. The deal is, if you're
being tickled and you want it to stop, all you have to do is say a certain word and, if
you can manage to pronounce it correctly amidst your giggling, the tickler must
stop. In the hundreds of times this magic word has been invoked, I have never known
a tickler to disregard it. The word is
pronounced like this:
GerBIBbledy-BEERgus-BEERgus.
The .wav file at left is of my girl,
the ticklee (I can call her "my girl" because she calls me "my
Johnny"), being tickled by my other girl, her mom. |
|
You will discover that the gain level of the first two noises is significantly higher than that of the last and best one, the Cuter Noise.
To correct the problem, either turn down the volume for the first two or turn it up for the third. Duh.
