Gamesman

Below are four petroglyphs from the front cover of the November 2001 edition of Games magazine.  These and several others are the alphabet of a cryptogram.  If you decode the glyphs into their corresponding letters you get a message you might find inscribed into the wall outside a caveman's front door.

For what it's worth, when decoded the sign reads, "We're not home right now.  Chisel a message below and we'll back to you shortly."

This guy is the letter W, and he's not exactly shy; he's the very first letter of the message.

This guy is the letter L.

This guy is the letter G.

And this guy, the last letter of the message, is the letter Y.

 

Is it just me, or are these funny?
