Three White Chicks

lef2rite.jpg (13438 bytes)

The statues are part of a single life-sized sculpture on the lawn of the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City, Missouri.  It's a sculpture that encourages one to set up photographic opportunities.  The three white chicks, from left to right, are prairie, lugeslider, and B.

You can see prairie's WEB SITE.  Lugeslider is someone's extremely good mom.  B is someone's extremely good daughter.

As it turns out, the Nelson-Atkins Museum apparently has a manned surveillance camera and loudspeakers in the area of this outdoor sculpture.  Just a few moments before I took this pic, a really loud, disembodied voice boomed at us, "You must move away from the sculpture immediately."

Prairie, lugeslider and B -- I'm pleased to say -- all chose instead to obey the instructions to stay where they were till I could get this shot.
