No U Turn

Here's my best guess as to the meaning of the top sign:

Do not turn your steering wheel all the way to the right, put 'er in reverse, and step on the gas.

Here's one of those signs that tell you what to do in each lane.

From the right lane you may only turn right.
From the middle lane you may only turn left.
And from the left lane you must put 'er in reverse and step on the gas.

Finally, I'll just let you figure out why this is one of my all-time favorite Fun Pix. I suppose I'll never know whether this was done on purpose.

For those of you familiar with the area, this is the signage you see on the southwest corner of the bridge over I-35 at eastbound 87th in Overland Park.

Update of July 2003 It's a good thing I got this shot when I did, because the sign has since been re-erected.
